About Inclusive Access

Welcome to the UACCM Inclusive Access program. This initiative provides students with digital course materials on (or before) the first day of class at prices negotiated well below retail. Faculty gain real-time data on student engagement, while students benefit from seamless delivery, lower costs, and the ability to pay with financial aid.

How It Works

After faculty select their materials, the UACCM Bookstore secures discounted pricing from publishers or vendors. When a student registers for an Inclusive Access course, the content is available through Blackboard before the term begins and a single course-material charge is placed on the student account.

Benefits for Students

  • Day-one access to all required materials.
  • Significant cost savings compared with traditional purchasing.
  • Ability to apply financial aid directly to textbook costs.
  • Higher success rates thanks to timely, digital access.

Benefits for Faculty

  • Built-in analytics to monitor student engagement.
  • Reduced administrative workload—no codes to manage.
  • Flexibility to customize content and digital tools.

Opting Out

If you prefer to obtain materials elsewhere, opt out before your course’s deadline:

  • Visit theuaccmbookstore.com.
  • Select LoginLogin With School and use your UACCM credentials.
  • Choose Opt Out and submit the form.
  • You can also access the form by clicking here

Dropping a course before the add/drop deadline automatically cancels the charge. Students who withdraw after that date remain responsible for the fee.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Inclusive Access materials cost? Prices vary by course and reflect the negotiated discount with the publisher—typically well below retail.
How do I pay? The charge posts automatically to your student account; pay it just like tuition and fees.
What does “opt out” mean? You decline participation, lose digital access, and must source materials elsewhere.
Do I need to opt out if I drop the course? No. Dropping by the add/drop deadline cancels the charge automatically.
Can I opt back in after opting out? Yes—return to the opt-out page in Blackboard and select “Opt Into IA Program” before the add/drop deadline.
